That day went like any other. I parked my mom's old Ford Escape in the driveway. I had just gotten off work, and it was my last day. Before I walked into the house, I grabbed the mail. A cool breeze whipped past me. I began to look through the mail, like routine and headed inside. There was a cream-colored envelope with big blocky letters saying

Which would be acceptable only if it wasn't from a place I've never heard of before. "Mount Haven"... might be a scam. Right? The lettering looks like something from the government. The letter began. Who is that? My eyes jumped to the next thing to catch my eye.

I grabbed my phone. My body began to shake.
