20 year old Inaria Janelle Williams moves back to her hometown Chicago after leaving 4 years ago. When she goes to visit her older brother Amir she learns he is apart of a gang called OTF.

When her brother introduces her to everyone there a quiet dreadhead in the back is the one who catches her eye. He was considered rude, evil, unlovable but that wasn't what Inaria saw when she looked at him.
