Life should be simple, Cross gets up goes to work and comes back home. It stayed like this for quite some time but Cross falls head over heels for a customer, Yet this so called customer deems Cross Likes Dream,
After Cross spills some words the other misheard.
Life is unfair so it was no surprise When Nightmare fell for Cross but he knows Dream would never allow it since Dream likes Cross.
Nightmare thinks this love is A lost Cause. Will it be? Or will it not? Will they get their happy ending? Or will it all crumble ahead of them?

He had been serving 'the one who takes' for quite some years. Most of the creatures in the batches of new recruits either died or betrayed their king. But Cross would never do that. The god had given him a home, friends, a new purpose, a second chance at life to prove his worth. In exchange Cross served him, stayed by his side, devoted his life to him in such a manner that it almost could be called worshiping. He was a god, afterall. Cross knew he would do anything for Nightmare. He'd kill for him, had killed for him, he'd protect him, even die for him. And if that couldn't be achieved, well, then he'd die with him.

TWs!!! because I can't seem to tag them for some reason! abuse, mental health issues, torture, mental break downs, manipulation, all that fun stuff. This is NOT a lighthearted story! Nightmare had been alone in his head for the longest time. For 500 years he was able to gain more power, a castle, a gang, and a reputation of one of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. But when Dream had broken out of stone, someone else made themselves known, someone who should have been dead. OR Corrupted Nightmare is a parasite and Passive Nightmare refuses to die. nightmare was getting tired of his (not brother) dream trying kill him every single day. just because he in crime list with is group cross and error. Nightmare can't trust error or cross Nightmare knew they were working for dream. nightmare had eaten a negative apples when they fallen. nightmare didn't want dream to notice some negative apples falling so he putt them in special bag and burry them so noone knew there was negative apples under them. nightmare fell strong eating one but he was oh way carefully. he hear his morther to not eat too much and he promised but sometimes promises can be easy broken after your near your point of snapping.
