Working in a bakery was never complicated or scary. I was also never scared of the idea of taking over the business when I was a little older. But I was frightened about the 2023 "Best Bakery" contest. I was also frightened by the idea that our biggest threat was within at least a mile of me. I'm afraid of Adam Sanchez. But before I let him win, I'll be six feet under. You want to fight? I will happily accept it.

Everything was going perfectly fine. Better than fine, amazing- I was jumping up and down when I first heard we would be joining the Best Bakery of 2023 contest. Metaphorically speaking, of course. I wouldn't like to imagine myself jumping up and down. But with all happiness comes that you-have-got-to-be-shitting-me feeling, and that was exactly what I felt when I met Eva Lynn. New school, new enemies- and she was first on the list.
