Sudden Departure
I never actually feared death, nor did I fear dying. I think I had a pretty healthy awareness of it. I was more afraid of what came after it. I know, pretty morbid thoughts for a seventeen year old to have, but when your life is all around "perfect" what can you expect? Monster Love
"Let me die first or it's like I'll die twice." He tells me. I love him, my husband, more than I love myself. I love him more passionately than I thought I ever could with anyone. I would do anything for him! Whatever he asked of me I'd do it and whatever I asked him he'd do for me. We were a team and he wanted me to give him the one thing he has been begging me to do, give up on him. I have given up a lot to be his wife, but I've never regretted it. I have had beautiful children. I am a queen and I am with the love of my life. "You won't go first and neither will I." I hiss, "We'll go at the same time." He gives me a small smile and takes a step closer to me. I close my eyes for a moment and when I open them I make complete eye contact with him. He is a giant in ever scene of the word. Shataya has had it hard all her life and everyday, something unexpected gets thrown in her face. She guides you through the tough life which she is leading herself in. You notice how strong Shataya is, especially without her mother there, she ends up losing her strength and everything becomes more than she thought it would be.
