I watched as Sonic stared blankly at the photo on his nightstand. Taking a glance at it, I observed the two figures in the frame. One was a small child, who I assumed was Sonic at a younger age, and a taller hedgehog with silky purple quills and bright blue eyes. 

"Faker." I said.

"Hm?" 

"Is that your mother?" I asked, watching as his ears flicked swiftly. His eyes softened and almost seemed to be laced in sadness. 

"Yeah." He whispered, his eyes beginning to glaze over unconsciously. I decided not to mention it, not wanting to cause any issues.

"She's pretty." I said, casting him a glance. "You have her face." 

I watched as Sonic's eyes lit up slightly as he met my gaze. "You think so?" He asked, genuine happiness evident in his tone. I nodded slowly with half lidded eyes. It felt nice to see him smile. But just as quickly as the thought came, I felt sadness stab me straight in the chest. 

This was I the first time I had actually seen him happy.All Rights Reserved

So I just remembered and rewatched a movie that I literally watched on repeat HUNDREDS of times as a kid. Still knew like 95% of the words and everything. The movie in question is 'Drop Dead Fred'. I related to that movie SO much back then, still do in a way to this day. So. It has now plagued my mind and I had to. This is a story based on the movie: As a child, Sonic was often told to stay quiet, act proper, and to eventually grow to be the kind of man his mother wanted him to be. However... one day, Sonic made a friend named Drop Dead Shadow. A -slightly unhinged- friend that would always help him through the bad times... and replace them with good ones. Unfortunately, Sonic forgot about Drop Dead Shadow after some time. Until events brought him, Amy, Tails, and Rouge to Sonic's childhood home. Also, Sonic will eventually think and act more childlike eventually (kinda). This is the ONLY story I'm going to have with him behaving in such a way so don't ask for another. NOT Sonadow dis time.

On Senior Prom Sonic was going to have a great time with his 'boyfriend' Knuckles. But turns out it was a set up that he framed Sonic for selling Cocaine and it worked. Things were plain but Sonic was still broken but he was hateful towards those who hurt him in the past. He changed his appearance and moved far away to a little bit old London (a little modern) style town selling good medicine for the people and working for the psychiatrist. When people (Knuckles, his family, and friends) from his past 'somehow found him' come to make things right, Sonic turns them away. Will Sonic give them a chance? Or will he just hate them for everything they did in the past?

A single tear runs along my cheek as I give him a weak smile but all I saw were his beautiful emerald eyes filled with anything but joy but instead filled with worry, sorrow, fear. It ached to see them filled with such negative emotions. Before he could protest or before I had the chance to change my mind and run into his arms to feel his warm embrace, to forget everything that was actually going on, I jump. I knew there was no other option for me.. for us. As I feel gravity pull me closer and closer to the ground, I could feel the tears slide down my face. I shut my eyees tightly and hold my breathe, preparing for impact. SPLASH! The world around me is freezing and I feel as cold as ice, but my skin burns and almost feels as though its on fire.. I suppose frozen fire still burns.
