Keeping It a Secret

"I've tried to not say anything, but I can't help it," he said. "I'm attracted to you, Jennifer." The space between us seemed to not exist anymore. "Please tell me you feel it too."

"I wish I didn't," I mumbled. "I'm your student."

"So, you're a student. And I'm a teacher. That doesn't change the fact that I've never connected to someone this much in my life in such a short period of time. We have so much in common that it scares me, actually."

Jennifer Wilcox is the average college student. She studies, she gets good grades and she keeps to herself. But her secret? She's attracted to her English professor, James Tanner. They both develop a mutual and intense attraction but she doesn't want their relationship to go any further than teacher/student. Once Brady Tanner, the younger and seemingly perfect younger brother of James, is added into the mix it creates tension between the three. Jennifer knows that her and James are compatible but will never work out. Despite her and Brady being so different, she sees a side of him that makes her fall deeper into desperation as she has to decide what she wants.
