It has been 97 years since a nuclear apocalypse killed everyone on earth. At least, that is what has been told to the generation that has survived on the Ark since that fatel moment. 
 Adira remembers the lessons that were taught. The stories told about how earth used to be and how one day, in 100 more years, it will be survivalable again. 
   She dreams of a day she could walk the earth. Smell the flowers and feel the sun on her pale skin.  So what happens when Adira dream comes true. 
 When the Ark is dying and they send 100 juveniles to earth sooner than plan.  What happens when Adira learns that there is so much more to survive than what she has read and been taught. Will she be able to survive.

When the hundred land on Earth they find much more than they bargained for. Not only do they discover the safety of the air but that they were far from alone. There were grounders, survivors from the bombs, and the living dead. Will the delinquents survive alone with the walking dead? Or will a blonde stranger from the ground lead them to safety?
