A North Korean surgeon, Do Kyungsoo found a wounded South Korean soldier washed up shore behind his house.

Kyungsoo chose to honour his duty as a doctor before his duty to his nation. Thus, he saved the enemy and the enemy in turn freed him from his shackles.
