So recently I reread the PJO and HOO series because I loved them when I was a kid. Thus, when I was done I was kinda sad and wanted to see if I could get a bit more of Percy and Annabeth's adventures through fanfiction. I quickly realized that most of the fanfiction is quite poorly written. This shouldn't have been a surprise really since Percy Jackson has a primarily middle school audience but, it was infuriating how off the mark most of it was. So, I decided to put my own fanfiction together as a writing exercise. The following are short stories and ideas that I came up with using Rick's characters and world. I can't promise that it will be good but, I can promise that I at least tried. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy. Hopefully I'm not contributing to the problem of poorly written fanfiction. The sons and daughters of Poseidon, Zeus and Hades are now wanted against the law with little to no odds of survival. Friends are made and broken. Loyalties shattered. Secrets spilled. lives ended. Will this injustice crumble, or will the extinction of the most powerful and beloved demigods become reality? Rick Riordan is the proud and proper owner of the Percy Jackson series. --- This story introduces a new character to the Percy Jackson series with a life that leaves both himself and others around him in question. Throughout his life he was told to do what he was told to do or endure the consequence, not even questioning how his life ended up the way it is. After years of dealing with this indescribable pain, he came to the belief that he'd die with this horrible life. Or so he thought. With what began with a terrible loss actually leads up to a life he never expected to have. He earns great reward, respect, and a bright future for completing a severe quest that depended on succession. However, like many quests this one's not going to be easy. Whether it be mythological monsters or a haunting from his past, he manages to triumph over them all thanks to a couple of familiar and new faces. Throughout his quest he finds answers to many questions to his life but one: Is this where his story ends? --- Before you begin reading there's a few more things I want to mention regarding the story. Some chapters are narrated by different characters (symbols will be provided), there are mild abusive moments, it doesn't immediately dive into arriving at Camp Half-Blood nor knowing the main character's name, and this story takes place a month after The Titans Curse (so Percy, Annabeth, and Grover won't be included in "this" story). Hello reader! This is pretty much Percy and Annabeth's last year at Camp Half-Blood. This is filled with PLENTY of Perico and Solangelo drama. WARNING: I wrote this somewhat ironically, so a lot the things I write are very cliché and sort of like an annoying high school movie. This has The Blood of Olympus spoilers so if you don't mind spoilers go on head and read. If not, go read it, then come back to me. Also, if you hadn't read The House of Hades this will make absolutely no sense and I wouldn't read this at all haha.
