So recently I reread the PJO and HOO series because I loved them when I was a kid. Thus, when I was done I was kinda sad and wanted to see if I could get a bit more of Percy and Annabeth's adventures through fanfiction. I quickly realized that most of the fanfiction is quite poorly written. This shouldn't have been a surprise really since Percy Jackson has a primarily middle school audience but, it was infuriating how off the mark most of it was. So, I decided to put my own fanfiction together as a writing exercise. The following are short stories and ideas that I came up with using Rick's characters and world. I can't promise that it will be good but, I can promise that I at least tried. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy. Hopefully I'm not contributing to the problem of poorly written fanfiction. Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Valgrace (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot. Percy and Annabeth-Our Journey Through Life
It started out with just wanting to write a cute little series of one-shots, but this story has become the light of my life. What I thought would get maybe 200 reads max has blossomed into 20,000. It came to a trainwreck of a stop last summer, but due to begging from multiple fans, I've agreed to write a sequel. This is the future of Percabeth, inspired by the user PercyAnnabeth20Owl and the fanfiction entitled Percy and Annabeth-Their Future. ~ I was contacted by PercyAnnabeth20Owl and we are now doing a collab, so unfortunately the sequel's release date is going to be postponed. I am hoping to have it up by early 2015, but due to the fact that I have a new sister, it may take longer than that. Thank you for all your time support to everyone who reads this story.
