Monroe Black is 17 years old, a senior in high school. She's dealing with personal issues only her best friend Vieka knows about, and she never expected to fall in love with this guy everyone says is dangerous. But Monroe is too far in love with him to see that. Her relationship and house hold drama begins to drive her insane. 

Monroe starts to fall in love with someone else during her relationship with Jesse and she feels bad because her and Jesse have been through it all and she truly does love him. She's scared what will happen when he finds out her secret. 

Monroe's life is turning into shambles and she doesn't know what to do. How far will things go before anyone notices how dangerous it is?

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. I took in a deep breath before taking his face in both of my hands and swooping down to kiss him. At first, I was so nervous I didn't realize that we were already kissing but after a few moments, I realized how soft his lips felt on my own. Before I can register it I felt him moving against me.
