This fanfiction traces the events of Hogwarts Legacy, retelling and reimagining events from the game, as well as exploring completely new scenarios. This is a transformative work based on the Harry Potter franchise by JK Rowling and Portkey Games' Hogwarts Legacy. DearSans does not own their work, story, or characters. Penumbra is written with additional characters and storylines that are DearSans' original ideas. The story is from a third-person perspective, recounting certain canon quests relevant to the tale.
Mature themes and content (not very spicy), reader discretion is advised. PART I (ch. 1-23) recounts most of the Hogwarts Legacy video game events. PART II is new, uncharted territory (ch. 24+), finishing off the fifth-year with our young fifth-years. Sloppy writing probably, little editing.

Seraphina Bloggs (nickname Phina) grew up in an orphanage before in 1890, at the age of 15, a professor named Eleazar Fig took her with him and she started school as the "new fifth-year" in Hogwarts. Her special ability to see traces of ancient magic and even partially use that magic proved to be both a blessing and a curse over time. Now, in her sixth year, together with her best friends and Slytherin classmates Sebastian and Ominis, she is still processing the events of the battle for the last repository. But she already has to face the next threats that await her and her friends both within and outside school. And if that weren't enough, Phina's heart is also playing up repeatedly. Notes: The story takes place after the events of Hogwarts Legacy in the sixth and seventh school year (1891/92 and 1892/93).
