Flipped Upsidedown

For Axton Gerritsen, he could care less what people thought about him, your carefree type of guy 6 ft tall, jet black hair, with foggy grey eyes, he loved sports so he played baseball.
Axton had always liked girls. He never even imagined having a crush on a boy, but when his idiotic dog Duke decides to get into trouble, multiple times, he meets someone that could possibly be who he needs in his life.

Kai Andrews. Kai works at his grandpa's Pet clinic and keeps good grades, he loves animals, insects, all of the above, especially tarantulas.
When Kai began the job, he didn't expect to find anyone to talk to or hang out with besides the animals he cared for. That is until he meets a handsome, tall, black haired...dog.
(And his owner of course😌) Kai had figured out awhile ago he was Pansexual, but he had never had someone to treat him right, to care for him, so he stopped socializing and kept to himself.

I slumped my shoulders, leaning my chin into my hand as I stared at the food on my tray.

Axton nudged my knee with his, "Hey.." he hesitated, "Are you ok?" He asked worriedly.

I took a while to answer, but before I could Axton had gently put his hand on top of mine, which was laying in my lap.

I smiled, feeling the heat rise on my face, "Y-yeah, I will be."
