If you would have told John Marston that Arthur used to be a stick in line, soft spoken, little kid, John probably would have called you crazy and spat in your face. That was, until he saw it infront of his own eyes. John knew Arthur had the occasional scolding for doing things out of line, most of the time these things being the cost of his and others safety, but mainly his. It wasn't like John thought Arthur could do no wrong, but, it seemed like he was always trying to do everything right.

Dutch yells at Arthur for doing something foolish. in the end, Arthur runs off, John goes to help, Hosea and miss grimshaw scold Dutch, and Dutch is left feeling like the foolish idiot he can be.
