When two girls fell into Middle Earth, excited at the prospects of living through their all time favourite novel, they find things are not as they seem.
Something is watching them, as if they're being dared to reveal their secrets. How will they survive the challenges of the journey, dealing with the darkness that follows them, alongside certain two princes who are fascinated at everything they do, and a brooding, grumpy king who begins to suspect that they aren't telling the whole truth.
Where were they from, really? They did take the rabbit hole down, after all.
This is going to be a very long, slow burn fic so prepare yourself lol
I'm currently a uni student, so chapters will be quite infrequent.

But now Gandalf insists that if he wants his help he must allow a woman from another world into his company as well. But just because the wizard brings her along doesn't mean Thorin has to play nice. Who is this woman anyhow and why is the Valar's mark on her hand?
