Joey Bear is a cocky, arrogant, and surprisingly sweet senior that would do anything for his family. So when Joey finds out that his mom needs surgery but they can't afford it, he looks around for something he can enter to win enough cash to pay for the surgery. When his friends show him a dance competition flyer, and tell him to enter it as a joke, Joey takes their suggestion seriously and signs up with his sister as his partner.
Enter Zoey Slater, a beautiful and sweet seventeen year old. She sees the competition flyer as well, and decides to enter in order to win the money so she can leave the state. She signs up with her boyfriend as her partner.
Joey and Zoey are from two different worlds, but what happens when their worlds collide and their partners don't show up? Is there enough time to find another partner, or will they have to cooperate and dance together?
