The Last of Us Part III

When Ellie came back, she found the farmhouse stripped of everything they once shared. Only her belongings remained, and the message from Dina was clear.

Ellie did not return to Jackson. She walked into the woods, and didn't stop.

Dina raised JJ on her own in town. Raised him to be a good man. He was quick like his father, kind like his mother, and curious like Ellie. Dina never told him of his past, of the truth of how his father died. But when a story from the older patrols mentions an immune girl living in a remote cabin in the woods, JJ's curiosity gets the better of him. He finds it, and there he finds the answers to his erased past he's always wondered about.

*We might never get a third game, so this is my coping mechanism for wrapping the story. It's short and sweet, and I had a nice time writing it. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!*
