Rowan Nox, an orphan girl at Heaven's Home Orphanage in Altissia Empire, always thought that the king will protect his people from danger, so that is what she thought. When monsters attack her home, she went to the king only to find out that he was willing to sacrifice his own people for the sake of his power, this anger her and take the 'Knight's Core' from him and ran off until she came cross a boy named Ran who help her escape and tell her about prophecies that chosen kings will find the 'King's Core' and save their world from evil that lurk from the darkness.
