Evelyn Morgan is a college student who is dedicated to her studies and has little time for anything else. One day, she gets an opportunity to interview Tyler Kane, the star player of the local hockey team, for the college newspaper. Despite her lack of interest in sports, Evelyn agrees to the interview in hopes of furthering her career as a journalist. Tyler, a self-assured athlete, is used to playing offense, but Evelyn quickly puts him on the defense with her serious questions.
