Thomas is an average enjoyer of music. When he meets a boy named Newt in college, he finds that he likes music much more than he originally thought. Newt introduces him to his rock band, and Thomas begins to learn the drums. However, when Newt starts to act strange, Thomas decides it's his responsibility to help him. In his efforts to do so, he discovers two things: he is completely and utterly in love with a boy, and that boy happens to be hiding a secret that will forever change Thomas's life.
