After losing the gold and the cross, the Pogues have finally struck some luck: their own slice of paradise in the middle of the Caribbean. No rules. No parents. No Kooks. It truly is the break they desperately needed.
During the month on the island, JJ and Kiara grow inseparable and fall back on each other when they need it most. It's as if their surf trip has started early and they couldn't be happier. They survive the highs and lows of island life and live the ultimate dream. But during the 31 days stranded, one of them will realise that she always harboured feelings for him and the other will realise that all the years he liked her won't have to stay hidden any longer.

I haven't watched Love Island even once. Not even remotely sure what goes into it so this is not based on that at all lol. A request from an anonymous reader on Tumblr. Actually two reader requests for Friends with benefits, one being just a little more specific on the scene being set in Poguelandia. Set at the end of season 2, the Pogues are on Poguelandia and all they have are each other. JJ and Kiara clearly have feelings for one another, but let's be real. Feelings are hard. What better way to completely not go about any normal way of dealing with them than to start up a friends with benefits scenario where they can find comfort in each other and forget they're on an unknown island while also trying to secretly navigate the growing feelings they have for each other but refuse to say aloud.Complete
