"Women have always been considered as the weaker section of the society. They were never given the opportunities to grow and develop equally alongside men." Throughout the history of mankind, it was always the men who were remembered for their knowledge and courageous deeds. Women had always been restricted to the household and had been rarely given an opportunity to learn. Burdened underneath the male ego and pride, they were forgotten in the sands of time, as if they never existed. A hundred years after the Mahabharata war, after numerous sacrifices, grief and oppression on part of the female gender, a golden dream of justice and equality was seen by a group of courageous females on the banks of the sacred Ganga. And the first seeds of education and independence had been sown.
