Momento of Spring

Nurtured seeds
To tall, bright flowers
Picked and observed
By higher powers.

But just the same,
As seasons change
Petals wilt;
Roots dealt.

Melt in light,
Creatures devour
Of earth and rain
We're only ours

There's a shocking lack of fics for this?? It's pretty old as far as fandoms go, and the medicine seller is so???
