"I-I think- I think I'm dying.." he sniffled out a sob, shakily into my chest as I held him close. Rubbing his back because I knew it made him feel safe. 
I wanted nothing more but to hold him like this forever, to tell him that he was ok and we were going to grow old together like we had planned. 
Now, in this moment I had my doubts. Maybe that wasn't case anymore, maybe I can't keep him safe from the plans god had made for him, but that doesn't mean I'm ever going to give up on him.

One" he said putting his lips to my ear "no" I whimpered and he looked at me. "I-I'll do it" I whispered and he nodded letting me go.
