Annie had been through way more than a young girl of seventeen should ever go through. Now back at school after being away for eight months, she finds that her mortifying and shameful secret isn't as well kept as she thought. Everyone knows. Everyone except Harry, being the new kid and all. He's also someone who doesn't dabble in the grapevine, which intrigues Annie.
Annie and Harry are from completely different worlds, yet somehow their stories are more connected than they think. And soon they realize that together, they can help each other get what they want. But what they don't realize, is that what they want might just be the same thing.
Eve is 16 years old. She has normal friends and normal teenage habits. She didn't sneak out or smoke anything. She cussed sometimes and had a guy best friend she did secret things with. Her parents are Catholic, so they see her normal teen behavior as acting out beyond reason and continuously look for somewhere she can be 'fixed'. Her therapist suggested a place that looked like camp. Two strangers come get her in the middle of the night and bring her to the worst place she has ever been to in her life. When she comes back to live with her best friend, she is nothing like she was when she left, but he promised he'd wait for her.
