There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. It's a book that will make you feel, act, and see things differently. Heartstring is not for lighthearted, you will feel the hit of every emotion, the sadness, the joy, the suffering, the happy tears of the other person. It's a book that will make you feel everything. It's a book that you can relate to. Heartstring is not just a book, it's an emotion. Some of us have suffered through terrible things, some of us have found little things inspiring, some of us have beautiful memories. But life is really a lost treasure. It's not always what you expect but we have our share of good and bad. Each one of us has such a memory, the sweet-sour taste of life that still lingers in our mind. Heartstring is the collection of all these stories your's and mine that will inspire others to think, feel, act differently. The motive just one ----Someone going through what you have once doesn't feel so alone.
