Book 1 - Moon series Part 1 of a Duet. This is book 1 of the Alpha series, but this book was so long that I split it into 2 parts. Part 2 is titled Beta Enzo - and is only available on REAM - link in my Bio❤️ This book is COMPLETE, but ends on a major cliffhanger. You've been warned😘 __________ 𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐒 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 - I was the youngest Alpha to take over a pack in centuries, at the tender age of 16 due to the death of my father. A death caused by my own doing. In my opinion, the prick deserved it from the things that my mother and I had to endure before I was forced to watch him kill her in front of me - completely shattering all that was good in the world. I was only eleven years old. According to my Beta, Enzo - that was the last day that I smiled and the day that my wolf came to me, making me one of the youngest shifters in history. It took five years for me to bulk up and gain the strength that I needed to kill my father with Enzo's help. After that - Every wrong thing in the world seemed to fade away, even though my smile hadn't returned. Until I found him - my mate - who took me by surprise as I'm not gay, but that fact didn't stop me from wanting him. Romello was a wolf living among humans, raised by a man who had a strong connection to his past that shockingly enough - was darker than my own. And being mated to a man that had a past darker than my own wasn't the craziest part of my now spiraling life. I'd been blessed by the Moon Goddess herself with something that'd been thought to be nothing but a mere myth within the werewolf community. I didn't just have one fated mate... But two.

"He was made to be sacrificed. They made him theirs instead." Hidden beneath a cold, unnamed facility known only as VantaObelisk, the government holds four ancient hybrid beasts-creatures stolen from time, myth, and ritual. They were captured not to be saved, but to be broken. Studied. Weaponized. Each one a prisoner of flesh and memory, too dangerous to destroy, too powerful to control. They are fierce, rabid, cold, and unreachable-barely sentient in their rage, driven mad by pain, time, and betrayal. They are bound in containment, whispered about by terrified staff, and worshiped in secret by the cult. Then the fifth arrives. He is a fragile, fractured human-small, injured, nearly silent. Meant to be an offering. A trigger. The staff treats him like a lamb for slaughter. A final test before the facility initiates The Fifth Psalm: a transformation meant to awaken godlike potential from the oldest of blood. But what the facility doesn't know is that he is not a vessel. He is a mate. Only the beasts feel it. The ancient pull. The thread binding him to each of them. Something older than the labs, the machines, the language of science. They were made to kill. They can get immense power if they get mated. With that power they can destroy the facility and free themselves. But they doesn't want a mate as he only makes them weak. They fight it at first. They try to reject him. But the bond refuses to die. Instead, they remember. A voice. A warmth. A litany of connection. Somehow, this broken boy becomes the thread that binds them-the first act of tenderness they've known in years of cages and silence.

(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. "Yes, you are. Don't you have any shame?" "Shame?" I asked, confused with what shame has to do with being jealous. "Yes, shame. Don't you have any shame for yourself? You're jealous of a woman being with your mate who wants nothing to do with you. Isn't that pathetic?" he asks, shocking me with his cruel words. "Why would you say something like that?" I ask, feeling my voice shake. "Because if you've forgotten your place. You're my destined mate, but you will never be my chosen mate," he says, venom dripping with every word. I can't hold the tears any longer, so I quickly run away from him. I can't spend another second close to him. The Great Bifurcation, The Divided World by moraleslary

The Core Premise: Over 750 years, genetic engineering technology evolved from medical treatment into comprehensive human enhancement, creating "The Great Bifurcation"-a fundamental divide between: Naturals (unmodified humans) who maintain traditional reproduction Designed (genetically modified humans) who undergo extensive pre-birth optimization The split occurred gradually across five eras (2090-present), beginning with disease elimination and expanding into full enhancement. What started as a medical choice became an identity, then a culture, and finally nearly separate species. Each population developed distinct philosophies, social structures, and ways of life: Naturals value authenticity, diversity, and earned achievement but face economic disadvantage and discrimination Designed prioritize optimization and progress, enjoying health/longevity advantages but struggling with uniformity and existential questions The populations coexist in complex interdependence-legally protected but socially segregated, economically interconnected but culturally divided, cooperating on some fronts while conflicting on others. The Central Tension profound questions about humanity, authenticity, equality, and the ethics of genetic modification without taking a clear side, presenting both populations as having legitimate perspectives and real costs to their choices. Multiple emerging trends (genetic divergence, political tensions, space colonization, a "Third Way" movement) leave the ultimate fate of divided humanity uncertain.

"The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. Just a weary exhale as she turned her back on him - the one thing he never thought she'd do. Before she could take a step, his hand shot out, gripping her arm like he was holding on to life itself. "Where are you going, Ara!" His command shook the pack. But she wasn't his to command. Not anymore. Ara ripped her arm free with a force that made even his wolf recoil. "Don't. Touch. Me." Her aura slammed into him, cold and merciless. "You think I'll stand here and watch you mate and breed her?" she hissed, every word a dagger. His throat bobbed. "She meant nothing." She laughed - sharp, broken, brutal. "Yeah? That's why you were fucking her in your office? Couldn't even hide the scent of your betrayal." "Ara, it was a mistake-" She stepped closer, eyes blazing. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" One tear escaped - and she crushed it away with her thumb. Then she turned. Walked. Didn't look back. But he didn't chase her. Because he knew. He didn't just lose her. He wrecked her.
