"So you've fallen in love with a dwarf?" "What?! No!" When Gandalf came to Mirkwood with a quest of reclaiming Erebor, Alithia Thranduillell couldn't resist the thrill of an adventure. Without a word to anyone, not even her overprotective father, she ran away from home to join the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. After all, it was only to help them reclaim Erebor. Little did she know, a certain blond haired dwarf would come into her life and change it. Being the next in line for the throne after his uncle, Fili had a duty. He had to fight by his uncle's side to reclaim Erebor, their home. That was it. The last thing he expected from joining the quest was meeting an elf maiden and falling for her more and more with each passing day. But there was one problem: Thorin hated elves. It becomes much more problematic than your usual adventure wherein the reader is a skin changer with alpha blood that allows her to shift into any creature; all she has to do is merely look at the animal she wants to turn into. Along with this comes soul bound mates-that are a natural thing for skin changers, likewise for the dwarves it is finding their one. How will Thorin behave when he discovers his one in the powerful skin changer? He says he'll wait till the quest is over but can he make it that long? For the reader, it's a whole new journey in more ways than one. Neither parties want to give up their mate as they are only blessed with just one in a lifetime. The reader faces a multitude of questions one of them being what were to happen if she looked up the dragon, Smaug? Read to learn their story... **MATURE READERS ONLY** 18+ OnlyComplete

~ The sequel to "Daughter of Beorn" has been released! Check it out! It's called "The Skin-Changer Prophecy." ~ Gandalf looked down at the small child partially hidden behind the skin-changer's legs. Her green eyes sparkled as she tossed a small pebble at the stranger's feet before giggling. The mischevious little one then toddled off a bit to chase a butterfly that had caught her attention. "She cannot stay here." Beorn said. "It is unsafe for a child. I do not want her to... be exposed. To my other form." "You seem to forget that she is your daughter." The wizard replied, shifting as a small breeze came through the forest. "And I am not trained in the art of raising children." The two men momentarily turned their gazes back to young Kyja, who was too occupied following the winged insect. Compassion soon struck the wizard's heart. "Yet... there is someone that could care for her. He is an odd fellow, relates more to animals than any other living creature- but he is genuinely kind, and will be able to assist Kyja in the following years. Radagast the Brown is his name." And so, the journey begins. Far into adulthood, Kyja is introduced to a completely new world when Gandalf proposes an offer- to join a band of dwarves to help them save their homeland. Haunted by past memories and scars, the skin-changer is forced to come to terms with her own history while accepting the new fate she has been given. Humility, love, and sacrifice are only some of the lessons learned in: Daughter of Beorn. ~ All ideas, concepts, and plot lines pertaining to The Hobbit all belong to J.R.R. Tolkien. They end up in a beautiful place, where they are offered shelter unexpectedly. Dís is glad she can give her kids a safe haven, but she can't set aside her crestfallen thoughts, especially not when Thorin leaves her behind to search for their father. Again she falls in love with a man - the only one she trusts, but who doesn't fit into her world in which only misery prevails. Moreover she faces a devilish dilemma: she has to choose between the safety of her own sons and the well-being of the people that cared for her.Complete
