I've decided to rewrite the entire Monsters Vs Aliens but with Sonic because why the heck not. I've rewatched the movie one night and now it's taken over my life. This does not follow the exact same lines from the movie

Tale of the Tickling Giant (rewrite)
(I wrote this story back when I was a young teen who was obsessed with MLP, Sonic, and anything Giant related...fast forward a decade later and I still like all three of those things; so I rewrote this story here. Hope y'all find it entertaining.) This story is slight-soft-horror; but it's not really that scary. Five friends sat around a campfire one night, regaling stories to one another. After Twilight Sparkle tells the tale of a Giant beast whom he can cast a curse of immense growth upon whomever he tickles; these five friends find themselves having to deal with that very same giant! Can they outrun their new foe who they have nicknamed "Big Blue?" Or are they doomed to succumb to the Giant's twitchy, tickling clutches? I haven't done a story in a long time. The Multiverse is quite an expansive space, don't you think? Well, what if I told you about a world where Neo Metal Sonic was actually Organic and was much more powerful than even Sonic the Hedgehog himself? This organic being was a clone of Sonic using his DNA to create the perfect life form of overwhelming strength and will. Eggman gave this creature the name : "Y/N Robotnik". However, due to him being a clone, he didn't desire to be kept up as a cage and a slave, and Sonic's DNA within him craved freedom. After a crushing defeat, Y/N finally snapped and decided to leave the Eggman Empire to find his own path. This eventually led him to a confrontation with Sonic - the original - allowed him to come to a realization and understand as to what he truly wanted. He was Sonic, and Sonic was him, and both wanted the same thing in life - to protect others.

Sonic and friends unwillingly travel to another dimension and upon arrival realise that they are not able to freely show their special abilities to the public or bad things may await. They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. The characters are aged up as follows; Sonic-21, Shadow-22, Rouge-22, Knuckles-23, Amy-19, Tails-15, Silver-18, Mephiles-18, Mighty-18, Sally-16 I am open to constructive criticism, so if you notice a mistake or something that just doesn't make sense, please comment so I can fix it. The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out.
