This is a poem I wrote with my friend A child who has been pushed away and forgotten. Someone no one cares about. But she knows now that it doesn't matter she'll will be strong.

I knew I was a freak, I'm weird not stupid - even if I did act like it half the time. It wasn’t normal to be like me, to be afraid of things everyone loves, needs to survive even. I had always been afraid of it for some reason, among other things of course; I would rather die than have to face my fear. Everyone knew it but no one cared though did they? I was just another stupid kid in this stupid foster home. Another stupid kid that had been ‘dumped’ and no one wanted. At least, that's what I thought.

Everly's father ends up going on a business trip with Zion's father, but Fate has other plans for these two. Zion is forced to babysit Everly till her father gets back. Will Everly be able to change him or will she get hurt in the end? Or will he? *** "I promise I'll always be there for you" I tell him, he smiles and places a kiss on my forehead before sleep starts to consume me. "Please don't break that promise, I need you" is the last thing that is heard before I fall into a cozy sleep.

MY SO-CALLED LIFE [SLOWLY BEING EDITED]
They said that there's nothing like the love of your own parents. Well for the 17 year old girl Angela, it's completely the oppossite. She's being physically abused by her father. With no one to turn to, she keeps everything to herself. Afraid that if someone finds out about it, her father might kill her. Nearly 8 years of phycial abuse, she learned to isolate herself amongst her peers from school. She distanced herself from friends that she used to have. Only spoke when necessary. Everytime someone would try to befriend with her, she would push them away. Caught up with her own messed up life, she met Brandon the new guy from her class. He's not your typical cliche jock guy. Brandon seems to have some interest on Angela. But with her pushing him away everytime he tries to get to know her, it made it extra harder for him to talk to her. But what happens when he finds out what kind of life she has? Will he easily give up? Or will he actually try to earn her trust and help her?

These poems are just some of the little pieces that make up my life. Whenever I get inspired by someone or something, I write a little story about it in the form of a poem. In a way, it helps me express what I have in my mind in a very vague way. I'm not that kind of a direct person, but there are things that are sometimes, better to kept secret. Here, these poems are what I wanted to say to my friends, to other important people, to people in general, to the world around me, to life and each detail it possesses. Each poem has a central theme, and around that revolves a certain story that I want to impart, something too delicate to be expressed directly, something too complicated. She was a shy naive girl when everyone first met her or so they thought. After that first day of school they start to notice that she's different then she looks to be but will she show her true self or stay the shy naive girl people think she is. What happens when she finally has enough of being the shy, depressed, guilt filled, daydreamer girl that she changed herself into. What happens when she has to transfer to the same school as her best friend Jacob who's in the same friend group as the schools "bad" boy who's also dating the worst bully she's ever had. Like a sunflower will she blossom to her full beauty or will she stay in her shell read to find out. Possible abuse, smut, drugs, self harm, sexual assault, smoking, cursing, dirty but not nude pictures and more. I tried to put ⚠️ emoji on any chapter containing self harm, smut, abuse, sexual assault, etc. Would not recommend unless 18+ years old and not sensitive to sensitive content. "You are a worthless piece of trash! We should've gotten rid of you when we had the chance!" My abusive dad shouted, slapping me with all of his might. My name is Chloe Adams. Both of my parents have abused me my entire life. I'm covered in bruises, cuts, and burns from head to toe, but I've learned how to cover them up. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever escape this hell hole. "Yeah you should've." I agreed, whispering under my breath. "What was that!?" He yelled even louder than before. "N-Nothing." I stuttered, afraid of his reaction. I don't want to be pushed down the stairs again. The last time that happened, I broke my wrist. They didn't even take me to the hospital. I had to bandage it myself. "That's what I thought! Go fetch me a beer!" He ordered. There comes a moment when you don't want to stop. When you don't want to get better. You just don't care anymore.
