Stanley has grown tired. he has become a robot to the Narrator's command. he has discovered every single ending in the game, and he has nothing left to do with his life. he simply follows the Narrator's command, and does the freedom ending over and over. The Narrator never seems to tire of this, watching his work repeat itself for eternity seemed like it would never cease to amuse him.. but Stanley couldn't take this any longer. he needed more... he wanted to live. he wanted to be happy.

Stanley found himself desperately attempting to extend this last run of his as much as he could but ultimately couldn't escape from the end after all. The end of the parable and the end of his life chased him relentlessly. And he was going to run out of breath.
