A story about a girl in a wheelchair entering a contest to become a professional singer on a show that was once canceled a long time ago. The show is called Instant Talent where five judges sit along a table with buttons in front of them to either reject a contestant or to accept a contestant. After the audition round everyone competing gets put into groups led by each judge for coaching and for the duration of the show. However, if the judges want to, they can swamp talent to mix up their teams. This story itself follows the story of Krystal Jones, who has mental health issues as well as the issue of being trapped in a wheelchair while being able to write and create her own music. In her travels through this show she goes through all kinds of drama that will test her, but in the end she gets to become the person she has always been deep inside, an angel. Will she win the contest? Will she become a professional singer? Will her original songs wing the crowds and the judges? Guess we have to find out together.All Rights Reserved

Yes, yes it is, but it's surprisingly fun and effective. :) We pretty much live for the Inevitable Ascension series and did just about everything ourselves-the writing, the editing, the publishing, the art (well, Andrew did the art, but Sasha provided invaluable consulting when it came to eyebrows), the audio book, the trailer-everything. We're basically a one-man band, except with two people... and no music... so perhaps not the best metaphor, but we're confident you get what we mean. I promise you this: it's definitely not like the love stories by Nicholas Sparks, where the guy always gets the girl, or vice versa. You know what I'm talking about, right? He always writes those beautiful, attractive stories, where the guy falls in accidental, deep love with the girl, experiencing some small tragedy that breaks the heart of every reader. Any way, the point is that this story is nothing like that. Nope, that is just not me. This is the story of an average girl who attends an average college and who shares the average anxieties of every other individual. Yes, she falls in love with a guy, but she'll never admit that to anyone, especially not herself. This is the story of her modern love, of sex and inevitable attachment, of fast falling and easy emotion, and of overthinking and unanswered questions. It's a story that I'm sure everyone can relate to in one way or another. It all happens in 34 short days. She meets a guy, who ultimately leaves her with more questions than answers, but I suppose that is half of the allure. If you want a taste of the real world, of a love affair and self discovery from beginning to end, here it is. Be warned: what happens is pretty shitty.
