Ashley and her family are quick to realize how bad the timing is to move to Obx when her British best friend's brother goes missing. And she can't help but stress about it, not being able to be there for her best friend.

There is a lot Ashley doesn't know, like the real reason her father moved the small family to Outer Banks. Things begin to not add up, and Ashley grows suspicious, there are things she doesn't know. It's not even on purpose when she finds out the truth, and it's what builds her life back together, but will her life stay together?
