Great Expectations charts the progress of Pip from childhood through often painful experiences to adulthood, as he moves from the Kent marshes to busy, commercial London, encountering a variety of extraordinary characters ranging from Magwitch, the escaped convict, to Miss Havisham, locked up with her unhappy past and living with her ward, the arrogant, beautiful Estella.

Pip must discover his true self, and his own set of values and priorities. Whether such values allow one to prosper in the complex world of early Victorian England is the major question posed by Great Expectations, one of Dickens's most fascinating, and disturbing, novels.

The Shadow of Slytherin

85 parts Ongoing Mature

A troubled arrival at Hogwarts, a bloodthirsty Goblin who sees you as an obstacle on his way to great power, dragons, beadts, students out of bed... Not at all what you expect for your first year at the Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry. As the new fifth year, who just got chased by more than one bad guy, you already have a reputation before introducing yourself, and friends or so they call themselves. What the time at Hogwarts will bring? Well come and find out. You are the main Character, some details I have preset for the purpose of the story, others are up to your imagination. The used pronouns are they/them, so please feel free to adjust them to your own. I wanted to write a character that includes everyone, no matter their body or mind.
