This is a gay romance book between a human and a vampire. Anwar is a foster kid, searching for purpose in this life full of despair and death. He is moved from house to house until he finally lands in a small town in Oregon, where he meets Malakai, his forever home. "Do you know the meaning of Sullivan?" He asked, tilting his head and flashing a side smile. I shook my head, curious as to where he was navigating this conversation. "It means 'Dark-eyed one'." I furrowed my brow, confused as to why he was referring to himself as dark. "Do you know the meaning of Anwar?" I raised my eyebrows for a moment, suggesting I didn't. "It means Light." I smiled a bit as he said this, letting the words sink in. My moment of thought was cut short as he slid his hand onto my cheek, igniting the shivers from his cold flesh. "Be my light, Anwar." His tone was barely above a whisper and full of longing. Before I could answer, he placed his lips on mine. This is my original story; please do not upload it anywhere else.
