This story takes place after the events of Over The Garden Wall, where the beast is supposed to no longer exist. But whenever a story ends, a new one will always unfold... And sometimes, it happens in the most unlikeliest of ways.

    A lonely and curious soul finds themselves wandering into the darkness of an unbeaten path, discovering the remnants of a shattered lantern. Feeling a bit sorrowful for the abandoned object, they decide to repair the lantern back to its original state. Saving the remnants of the oil they found within, they reignite its flame.
    
    What the unwary creature hadn't realized was that with the single flicker of a match, they had taken a role that they would never be able to escape.
