Demons. Some would call them evil. Most where, but some...where kind. 


Ajax was the kindest of them all. At least to Miles he was. Ajax was golden and his light protected Miles for many years. Others called Ajax; "Lord of death and destruction." Miles disagreed. 


But demons are demons. Ajax was no different. 


One day, Ajax showed a side of him Miles had never seen. He had turned Miles into a half-blood by scratching his eye. Then, he left. Probably ashamed of what he had done. 


Miles has to find him, to get back to his his life was before. Who could help him with that? 


The Defenders of Souls. The most powerful demons he'd heard of. The legends of them in books were ones many Mobians knew of. Songs created because of them, sang to children and throughout the night, others worshiped them. Yet no one has been able to speak to one of them for hundreds of years. Miles will be the first.

This is a rewrite of the Netflix show Sonic Prime but with one of my AU Sonics: this one from Heart of a God, Soul of a Warrior. I've had this thought with me for so long ever since the creation of this bigger AU and now bringing this thought into reality really warms my heart. The story is finally finished! Shadow struggles with his feelings for Amy knowing well she doesn't reciprocate. Her love for Sonic was indestructible. However one mission at Eggmans base changed all of their lives forever. Has TRAGIC events... that may or may not be solved don't want to spoil! I originally made the story as a short story which was the first chapter of this story however I soon decided to make it have its own book as it is hard to make this into only 2 parts! May have multiple endings. Mainly Shadamy but has SonAmy too. (I want to clarify I wrote this story and I had inspo from a comic I read in high school back then. So full credits to them for inspiring me. However I did this story entirely on my own with my writing style. I came up with the plots and characters' development. The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out.
