Hachiman Hikigaya is a natural when it comes to interpreting micro-expressions and body language to know when someone is lying. In America, he worked with the Special Crimes Unit and later for The Lightman Group, a private company which assisted federal agencies, local police, corporations and private individuals with their most difficult cases. But after gathering experience and learning new skill, Hikigaya comes back home and he is looking for an opportunity in Ikebukuro. Why Ikebukuro? Because there is no other place he would rather be. It's a crazy town, full of  strange, supernatural occurrences and some downright crazy, weird people. Hikigaya thinks he will fit just right in.
