The North Star and the Ruby Throne

A revenge attack from the spawns of the aged and vile Harpy Queen Sharda springs suddenly upon the Ruby Kingdom and plunges it into shadow. The only one standing in the way of the new Queen Tih-shar's destruction of the line of Starwelders is Fimbul, a devoted servant and friend of the late king. As he strives to keep the king's son Victory-in-the-Deep safe from her clutches, Tih-shar uses a magical stone called the Harpy's Eye to blind Fimbul, leaving the boy to take care for Fimbul more than the other way around.
It seems hopeless, but the Court of the Gods sends the Lady of the North Star with hope and thus begins an adventure of fantasy and survival through strange lands, some usurped by the Cursed Kind, a monstrous army of dark origins craving only misery upon the conquered. Other lands are wrapped in ancient echoes of better times. Yet the two dwarves cannot return to their own home until the young king is old enough to reclaim the Ruby Throne . It is prophesied that not only the Ruby Kingdom will see the end of their curses if all goes true, but that a long dark era will come at last to its end.
