In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit family, a father with bright auburn hair that curled around the edges of his face and laughter that shook the very foundations of the house, a mother who had thick dark black curls that flowed down her back with the tookish features of the fae wild etched on her face. A young son that would listen and read every story he could possibly want to hear or read and a daughter with long auburn hair that laid flatter than a board, her father would say, deep green eyes like her mother, and the adventurous spirit of Tooks. She was nothing like her well-to-do father and she had influenced her older brother into some very surprising situations.
However, the life of the Baggins siblings was about to change when rumours of a wandering wizard had reached the shire and that he was looking for someone to share an adventure with.

"You talk too much elf-boy," Arya muttered, her voice hoarse from all the screaming she had done due to the pain of her injuries. Legolas scrunched up his nose in disdain of the nickname, but a smile soon found his way onto his face. "I am not a boy." Her eyes opened then, and her familiar hazel eyes met his striking blue ones. A small smile made itself present on her face as she looked at him, a twinkle of mischief evident in her eyes. "No. You are not." ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ Arya woke up some years ago with a grey-haired wizard leaning over her. She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. With the outer appearances of an elf, but eyes that flash orange and strange symbols that appear on her skin - no one seems able to tell her anything about her past. She joined the quest of Thorin's dwarven company to have something to do, and she quickly became a part of their group. After a long and arduous journey but still a far away from the mountain they stumble into trouble. And whom is there to save her, but a certain Mirkwood prince with long blond hair and a pair of startling blue eyes. With one of them bursting with light, and the other filled with darkness their story will be anything but easy. Feelings, however, are hard to suppress, and with a war brewing on the horizon they might not have a lot of time. Read on if: You would like to figure out what Arya is. You would like to see one of Tolkiens beloved characters discover love. You love dwarves, elves, hobbits and wizards You love Middle-Earth You just want to read it for the heck of it You do not have anything better to do ...Just please do it? Please and thank you.

Bilba has been a slave her entire life. All she knows of the outside world is what she sees from time to time outside the gates of Moria and the stories her mother used to tell her. Stories of a place called the Shire where her mother once lived and a placed called Erebor where, as far as she knows, her father still lives. Stories of dragons a thousand times larger, and more intelligent, than the beasts the orcs rode and of a strange concept called freedom where one was allowed to live as they wished with no one to tell them what they could, or could not do. The stories meant little to Bilba. The only future she had was to live, and die, as a slave as countless number had before her. And then the orcs dragged an injured female firedrake through the gates, her rider screaming obscenities behind her as he fought to reach her side...and everything changed.
