A young girl wakes up in an unfamiliar snow-covered region seeking shelter and a friend. A man struggles to overcome the games that something or someone is playing with him. After their initial meeting, they realize that they must help each other. Together, they set out on an adventure where they must make amends and band together with enemies and allies alike to discover the real truth of what's going on in this world. Can they stop the one behind it all before this world disappears forever?

This fanfiction is set in a separate branch of time that splits off from the official storyline just after the video "Mini Mario 64 ROM Hacks are Back". This story will not be a prediction of what will happen in future videos as it is merely inspired by Nathaniel Bandy's incredible skits. This is also the first story that I've ever posted online, so please feel free to give me some feedback. Whether it's about a positive or negative, it helps a lot.
