Just a regular day on the space station turns south. By unbelievable amount of luck, Luke Franks, the spaceships master technical engineer, is left unscratched, and so is his apprentice, Sarah Claw. But that doesn't stop them from dangers of space and the limitations it causes.
Using his knowledge and Sarah's, at times, absurd creativity, they have to survive until the rescue crew can arrive, but it's not that simple. The vacuum of space creates harsh condition for both of them, but thinking technically and outside the box, they believe they'll manage and fight through.
Humanity has built for itself a near-utopia with no more use for violence. Someone has to protect it.
Sam Decker is a man without purpose. The perfect, strife-less techno-utopia into which he was born has left him feeling directionless and nihilistic. Without risk or conflict his life has no meaning.
