But they were in love with each other but they we're friends. But after they changed or shifted they was afraid that they'll hurt each other. Bella thought Edward was still human. Edward thought Bella was a human. So After 500 years or so They meet again. Bella was to have a meeting with the volturi to guard the new wolf Prince,.Skylar. Edward was to meet Aro about his gift.
