Write scenes that show Mia and Ethan beginning the slow process of healing-perhaps with David's help, they start to build a new life. However, there should still be a lingering sense of loss, as the family they knew has been irreparably broken. The story ends on a note of cautious hope. Mia, now understanding the full truth of her family's twisted past, decides to move forward. The final lines can reflect Mia's realization that, though her family's reflections have been shattered, she has the strength to rebuild something new with Ethan by her side.
