A King, A Captain, A Mess
Two brothers learn who each other really are while on an adventure. Who will be king? Can they stop a civil war? Will they find and accept their mates? Could I suck any worse at descriptions?... probably not. Still, I think you should give the story a chance before you disregard it. Story excerpt: "I don't want to be a king. I've never wanted to be king! You know this, Father. Please..." I beg hoping he has another solution. "I see no other option. Look out the window, Ethan. It hasn't even been an hour, and a crowd has gathered at our doors. What do you want me to do? The people love you. The soldiers respect you. The only members of the clan you need to win over are the stuffed shirts and with what your brother just pulled? You're as good as gold." "You wanted this to happen." I accuse him, and he shrugs. "Want? No. Expect? Yes. Your brother is more concerned with holding his mothers dress than leading his people... but by all means, if you have a plan to make him a worthy ruler, lay it out for me, Captain." Father responds, looking for a battle plan to reign in his own son. "Are you willing to stand up to your mate?" I ask and he shudders before nodding. I've got some work to do.

The Fire In Me (A Leo Valdez Love Story)
NONE OF THE CHAPTERS IN THIS BOOK ARE PG-13! The settings for this book went psycho, but I promise you, this book is clean. I stared in amazement and horror, and then realized that the person-which, as I looked at him, was a boy-was extending his hand to lift me up. I took it thankfully. When I stood up, the world tipped to the left, and I stumbled. The boy caught me with strong hands. I looked at him and finally was able to look in on his features. The boy was only about 13 or 14. He had a shock of freckles, and a pointy nose, with rosy cheeks, and a mane of curly black hair. He had this quirky smile on his face, and his eyes glinted with mischief. He was dressed in a smithy outfit, complete with a tool belt, which had nothing in it. He also had some sturdy black boots. "You alright?" His voice was kind of squeaky, like he was just getting through puberty, right in the middle of high and low. "I'm fine," I replied, though he raised one of his eyebrows, pretty sure I was lying. I was of course. My favorite band had just turned into a couple of ugly, unearthly mermaids! My hands and legs trembled, and I almost fell over. I managed to stand, and asked, "What were those?" "Sirens. Probably why all the people in this room are asleep!" He grinned, like this was some kind of joke. I was not laughing. "Who are you?" I asked, not really wanting an answer, but it felt good to talk. "Oh! My apologies." He said it with a great bow. "Leo Valdez, engineer extraordinaire, son of Hephaestus." Finding Little Parker
Cameron and Jaike were walking in the park with their newly engaged friends, although they don't get along they were putting everything aside so this wedding could go off without a hitch. As they were walking in the park Cameron spots a little blue blanket under the trees. She walked over to the little blue blanket with Jaike, gently removing the blanket laid a baby a few months old. She took the baby into her arms, "Jaike who would just leave a baby in the park?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders "I don't know Cam but I think we should take him to the hospital so we can get him checked out and to see if he is missing." We were now waiting at the hospital for the case worker because he is all healthy and ready to go home with his family. It wasn't long until they turned up and they hadn't found his parents, I asked "what happens with him now?" They carefully pick him up "he goes into a foster home, he is young so he shouldn't stay there for long." I nodded my head and asked "can I take him, I will adopt him if I have to but that is no place for a baby." The social worker turned to me "I am sorry but a single lady like yourself is in no place to raise a baby by yourself." As I was then going to respond Jaike cut in "she isn't alone and single she has me her boyfriend and we both want to take him in." She nodded her head "okay I will make arrangements." She left the room leaving us with this baby boy, I turned to Jaike and said "you didn't need to do that, I want to have him not for you to be in it half heartedly."
