Upon losing the Kalos league Ash returns home to find a site he didn't expect, most of his prior traveling companions betraying him. With his girlfriend Serena and his Pokemon by his side and knowing his mother still believes in him, he leaves to the Aloha region. Five years later the world champ decides he's ready to retire and a tournament is being held in the Aloha region to decide the new world champion. Ash, now the Aloha champion, will compete to become the next world champion, as well as get some payback against those who betrayed him, and those who made his mother suffer just to get to him. After his loss in Unova Ash returns home to regroup and plan which region he will go to next. However while planning his next region, tragedy strikes and his mother dies. to his knowledge he has no other family until one day a familiar visitor arrives offering him a home and revealing a family secret lost for generations. Ash takes this offer and trains his Pokemon for 2 years. Now he is ready to journey out again, this time to Kalos. What will he find in Kalos, will he finally be able to achieve his dreams? And will he find something or someone that he didn't know he was missing when he finds a certain honey blonde. This is rated mature, however there won't be any lemons here but perhaps other some mature topics might get put in here. This will be my first ever attempt at writing so please forgive me and please leave your criticism. if this goes well I might actually write something else. A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.Concluída
