Sporepaw had always been a bit of an outsider in Riverclan. They were the smalles of all the apprentices, but there was something else they could see that no other cat could. Spirits. They could talk to spirits, Starclan Dark Forest alike. No one knew why or how. They wanted to keep this little power on the downlow, since they wanted to be a warrior, but the medicine cat caught a scent of them talking to a spirit and now they're here.
However, it seems that his shattered path of a warrior was the least of their worries. After their medicine apprentice ceremony, it seems like spirit cats were warning them about the gatherings, about how a leader with be killed there. They didn't know what to do, they didn't know who would even kill a leader at the time of peace. The full moon was coming fast, and they didn't have a plan to warn any of the leaders of one of their potential deaths to come...

Rising from the Ashes
The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. While they had their disagreements, they kept a relatively harmonious existence. They had always been four Clans and it was believed that they always would be. For as long as they kept the warrior code alive, the Clans would continue to thrive. That's when the troubles began. One long, hot, dry greenleaf, a fire swept through GrassClan. Some cats were lost but those that survived resumed life in their now scorched territory. They knew that life was going to be harder than ever, but they could not abandon the only home they had ever known. The next couple of seasons, GrassClan struggled to feed themselves with little prey to be found. Yet, they refused to give up. Newleaf found GrassClan weak and starving but with hope on their horizon. Their oldest queen had moved into the nursery. Then, disaster struck a second time. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders. They had no apprentices, no she-cats and no kits. The once vibrant Clan was on the brink of dying out. The four Clans would soon be no more. Then, at the next Gathering, StarClan brought a message to the Clans: GrassClan must survive. There had always been four Clans and that could not change.
