Princess Cataria can't wait to become queen, not because she's excited for the fancy dresses and posh dinner parties, but because it will finally give her a chance to prove herself as a competent decision-maker.
That chance might come sooner than she expects, though, when a mysterious sprite places the princes of two neighboring kingdoms under a sleeping curse. The princes' fates appear hopeless until a mysterious note dictates Cataria must choose who to wake from the sleeping spell on the condition they will be wed for life.
Determined to forge her own fate, Cataria sets out on a journey to retrieve a dream stone that will allow her to visit to the princes' dream-states and decide which is suitable to be her future king. Standing in her way is her overbearing father and the perilous route to the dream stone. With the help of her handmaid and a castle servant, Cataria will fight to succeed in both locating the stone and picking her prince.

She hated them. They loved her with everything in them. The universe truly has a sick way of telling you it's there, doesn't it? From being kidnapped to being abused, that was all Arabella saw in life. It was all she ever knew. They tell you to keep fighting but sometimes you realize... you were just a child. Now she's built herself up using her pain as the next step to her strength. She's learnt how to strive forward even as her past haunts her mind crawling up her back every passing second. My hand lifts without permission, hovering just short of the canvas. Not touching-God, even I know better-but close enough that it feels like heat radiates from the paint. "...Antonio?" Diego's voice is wary. I don't answer. I can't. I'm staring at her the way men stare at omens. "Diego," I whisper, "who is she?" Diego steps beside me, eyes widening. He whistles low. "She's... wow. She's-" "I know." "Antonio," he says, putting a hand on my shoulder, "you look deranged." "I feel deranged." He laughs, then cuts himself off when he sees I'm not joking. My pulse is hammering. I don't even know this girl's name, and yet something in me is clawing forward, hungry, fierce, desperate. I don't believe in fate. I don't believe in destiny or signs or prophecies or whatever nonsense my tutors preached when I was a boy. But looking at her- I almost do. "She's the Princess of Prussia," Diego finally says, reading the tiny plaque at the bottom. "Victoria." Victoria. The name hits like a strike to the chest.

Prince Herman is not the typical prince of every fairytale, he has no time for love, he is only engaged in making inventions. The prince has to fall in love with the princess who has been cursed to be a sleeping mermaid enclosed in a bubble in the greatest depths of the ocean, the depth which no human can cross. "True Love" is the only key to break the spell and unite the couple. There is but one rule: fairy godmothers aren't allowed to fall in love with any person in a fairytale. The one who breaks this rule would face dire consequences. But what if the Fairy Godmother falls in love with fairytale character?
