But those eyes, she saw right through me just as I did her. Those few moments felt like hours. I can't get those eyes out of my mind. Three hours later she's waiting for me at the exfil site. I can't let her get to me, crawl under my skin. But I have to know more about her. Soap says she goes by Reaper and she's assisting the 141 in taking down a terrorist organisation. This is a dark romance story about a girl named Ashley. The story will contain multiple topics that may not be your thing, please read the trigger warnings before continuing. Ashley is a 24-year-old girl from the Netherlands. She is in her last year of college, where she studies programming. After a dare, she now helps people with their digital issues. The hacking jobs she gets paid for aren't too big, but it's easy money. Having to grow up in a toxic and traumatizing environment when growing up, has been a real challenge. With an abusive dad, who was both physically abusive as well as manipulative. He is a criminal, serving his time in prison after being caught dealing drugs and shooting a police officer. I was 14 years old when they arrested him. She always had a good relationship with her mom, even after the incident. The passing of my older sister as well as everything that went down with her dad, her mom turned to alcohol for comfort. And looking at her now, it's like staring at someone you don't know. It's only one more semester until graduation. The dream is to find a good job, and get out of her toxic environment. To start over somewhere fresh, away from her past. But things never go as you plan. Every Friday afternoon Ashley stays at this cafe 'Gracht' to work. But on this one Friday something happened which changed her life for good. She never planned to get kidnapped by the Mexican Cartel, or to work with the greatest task force 141. And least of all, did she not expect to find love there. !!! After assisting Price with yearly qualifications for the team, things start shifting between Simon and Elaina. When her past threatens to intrude on her present Simon becomes her shield.
