"Here's something you should both learn, it's more fun that way. It's fun to watch them cry about their precious little world falling apart and try their best to correct the problem. Kids may prove a small annoyance, but it will be nothing major. The payoff is well worth it and entertaining." King Komoran told them both, showing his teeth.
He sat back down on his throne, rubbing his hands. "However, if these brats do decide to be heroes and spoil my fun, I've got several surprises along the way, surprises you wouldn't believe."

After nearly a decade of peace, an old foe comes back. He wants to be acknowledged as their one true king, and he will stop at nothing to do it. And there is nobody to stop him once he kidnaps everybody in Bark Village, except for a small group of twelve-year-olds. But they are just children, what difference could they possibly make? And what is it with these orbs?

Ali Baker did everything in her power to return to her pack, to her friends, and to her favorite place on earth. She enrolled in the town's college as an excuse to come back and be reunited her childhood best friend, only to find he was her mate, just as she had hoped for. There was very little time to celebrate however as she learned he had a girlfriend. It broke her and hurt but soon their mate bond would pull them together at last. It was them against the world, and a vengeful ex-girlfriend. **** 'No! No! No! This is not happening!' Ronan panicked as he spoke to me through our mate bond. I could hear the defeat in his voice as I was taken further and further away from him. 'I want you to know that I love you, Ronan. These past few months have been the happiest of my life. I only wished I could have returned the favor to you.' 'Don't say it like you're saying goodbye.' He was in full distraught now. Ronan's voice was breathy and cracked as he spoke to me. 'I'm not. I know you'll find me again.' 'Yeah, I promise. I'll find you, baby. Hold on, ok?' 'I will. I will wait for you. I love you.' 'I love you too, Ali, more than anything. Please just keep -' Suddenly, I was alone. The mate bond was a funny thing. It had its limits. The bond worked like a rubber band. When we were close to each other, it pulled and strained against us, pulling our souls together and allowed us to hear the other's thoughts. That bond allowed us to feel the other's emotions and pain. It was a fantastic thing to be a part of. However, just like taking a rubber band and pulling it as far as possible, it loses strength before breaking entirely. Warning: Story contain graphic details of violence, torture, sexual activity, and curse words.

[COMPLETED] I was cursed at such a young age, abandoned by my own wolf and the Moon Goddess for something that wasn't in my control. I don't even think having a mate is in the cards for me... ✨🌘✨ I jumped when the final horn sounded, circling the garden before everyone became silent. They all returned to their seats, my father rising from his chair as I stood from my seat along with the other pups. I struggled to breath as we took our position, standing in the centre away from everyone else. My father offered me a reassuring glance though it did nothing to ease my anxiety, all I had to do now was wait. My eyes widened when the moons blue light shined down on me, illuminating my skin as I stared up at the sky in awe. "We thank the moon goddess for the power of her light..." I dropped my gaze back down, my fathers words surrounding us, "...Shall it bathe you and grant you strength, agility, speed like the wolf..." The pups around me began to moan in pain, capturing my attention as I furrowed my brows. Their features were all contorted by an invisible pain that inflicted them but I felt absolutely nothing. My heart raced when their groans of pain became screams but I- I suddenly drop to the ground, a painful throbbing in my head forcing me to the ground. I grip the sides of my head, screaming. I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups. Looking down at myself, I only see my body, no paws and no fur. I hadn't shifted... ✨🌕✨ Book 2* 'The Wolven King' is the first book and must be read in order to understand this one. ⚠️ WARNING!! TARGET FOR DEMISE

I crawled and sunk impossibly deeper into the couch behind me, biting my nails to hold back the scream of horror aching to burst through my chords. The terrifying and spine shivering sight of flesh being ripped to pieces, agonising screams of terror and the horrendous sight of blood splattering on the living room window escalated my heart beats to rhythms I never thought possible. Suddenly all was quiet, silent and dark. The light from the moon that peeked through the window became non-existent. The screams of terror and horror disappeared and at the window I felt the presence of the monster who was doing this. It turned a bit staring back at me with menacing yellow orbs penetrating to my soul as a silent warning that I would be next. Next in line following the demise of my very own...family.
